Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

In higher education, the cost of textbooks and other required materials has risen to such high levels that students often purchase these materials late into the semester or forgo purchasing such materials altogether. Open Educational Resources help alleviate that concern by providing high quality textbooks that are free for instructors to modify, use, and distribute. The Utah OER website exists to educate its visitors about OER materials. Areas of focus include: what constitutes an OER, copyright and licensing information, tutorials on using OER, and a categorized directory to resources. Come learn how you can open the door to the benefits that Open Educational Resources will provide your library, institution and Utah students.
