Utah Library Association 2016 Conference

In higher education, the cost of textbooks and other required materials has risen to such high levels that students often purchase these materials late into the semester or forgo purchasing such materials altogether. Open Educational Resources help alleviate that concern by providing high quality textbooks that are free for instructors to modify, use, and distribute. The Utah OER website exists to educate its visitors about OER materials.
