Assessment in Special Collections: Improving Collections, Improving the User Experience

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Archives and Special Collections libraries are no strangers to gathering statistics about our processes and activities: everything from gate counts and circulation stats to ILS reports and webpage views. The challenge is finding ways to apply the information gathered from our assessments to improve our tools, services, and collections for our core users. This session brings together a panel of archivists and librarians to discuss their current projects using assessments to support curriculum needs, improve catalog records, and develop stronger digital and print collections.
