In today’s fast paced world, the ability to obtain information is just a click away. For many the ability to keep up to date with incoming knowledge can be a challenge, especially with regards to the vast resources the health and medical fields have to offer. How can the average public consumer gain knowledgeable, trusted information without the temptation to just Google (search) the subject? This presentation will discuss how the transitions of health and medical information have required a new approach with how librarians assist patrons in finding the information that they need through the daunting World Wide Web.
